This pkg now conflicts with tar from core repo (since tar 1.28-1) due to /usr/share/man/man8/rmt.8.gz

Could you please add 'autoconf' to makedepends()?

fukawi2 commented on 2013-12-02 01:06 (UTC)

Thanks joely - that works. Updated to 0.4b44

do autoreconf, not autoconf

I'm unable to get 0.4b44 to build. We need this patch: http://sourceforge.net/p/dump/patches/16/ But then we get this error: cd . && autoconf configure.in:161: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DEFINE If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow. See the Autoconf documentation. make: *** [configure] Error 1 Any help would be great.

Arg, now I can't reproduce the problem. Not sure what state all I've changed. I did do a pacman -S gcc, but thought the problem exhibited afterwards.

I had to add the line 'autoconf' before the .configure in PKGBUILD to prevent "gcc: '-V' option must have argument" during the build (http://aur.pastebin.com/Jm2iZvL8). My gcc is version 4.5.1. Hope this is helpful. Thanks!
