Please don't flag package out of date for "Pre-release" in GitHub repo!

electron doesn’t need gconf anymore. Please remove the dependency

@offlinehoster this package is directly downloaded from balena as you see in Sources section.

And it is working for me right now. Don't you get any log or error messages? Run it from terminal and try again, and take a look at journalctl for crash logs, it's weird that it is not working for you

This package is not working anymore. It stops after you type in your "superuser" passwd.

Downloaded the original file from balena directly is working fine.

Looks like 1.5.50 is out.

Could you please add a simple way to execute the binary without using the .desktop file? I did it using

ln -s /opt/balenaEtcher/balena-etcher-electron /usr/bin/etcher

I tested it yesterday and it worked! Weirdly I opened it right now, and you are right, only settings and back buttons are visible and they are not working. So I have downgraded the package to 1.5.17 for now, thanks @Tomek80Bytom

After yesterday's update application has stopped working. I'm still able to launch it, but unfortunately the main window is empty... contains only two buttons of settings and back.
