Any plans to update the package to reflect changes to the build sysytem of package from November (pull request #200 https://github.com/fangfufu/Linux-Fake-Background-Webcam/pull/200). Thanks for maintaining this :)

@yochananmarqos an AUR package exists, yes. But the upstream is gone, so it's not possible to build it. Perhaps you haven't built this package recently? :)

Dependency python-pyfakewebcam no longer exists.

Build process crashes with Java 17 because bazel crashes. Workaround for me was to temporarily set JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjdk.

installed and ran successfully! had to additionally install fmt, otherwise received

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/fake-background-webcam/fake.py", line 10, in <module>
    import cv2
ImportError: libfmt.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

for missing deps - there are corresponding -git packages. just install them manually (python-mediapipe-git, python-pyfakewebcam-git)
