there is a dependency on jcal which can not be find in AUR unless installing jcal-git would be appreciate if you can fix the dependenies

The appindicator is disabled by default. Have you enabled it?

Are you using the right library for Appindicator? It seems it does not work on Plasma desktop prperly while Appindicator is supported in Plasma.

jcal dependency is provided by jcal-git, no need the change the PKGBUILD.
