https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VirtualBox#Load_the_VirtualBox_kernel_modules and https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Kernel_modules#Loading say that kernel modules should be loaded thru /etc/modules-load.d/virtualbox.conf, not /etc/modules/virtualbox.conf

+1 to MrZYX. Without net-tools it's unable to connect to virtual device (at least, in some cases like mine).

I've still got the vbox unable to start error, using genymotion from the commandline, with or without sudo -u <username> genymotion. vboxdrv is modprobed, in addition to all the other vbox modules. I'm using the stock linux kernel, and vbox is correctly installed. I can even see it in vbox when I run the vbox GUI. However, it seems to initialize correctly using the eclipse plugin, except the vm does not appear. Does anyone else have this problem?
