I decided to not upload new package version only for change a link. If you don't like simbolic link in /usr/local you can find version 1.3.0-5 of this package here: https://bitbucket.org/ilkatta/aur-genymotion

sincerely, I don't remember why I chose /usr/local ... I'll fix it in the next package version. Thank you for reporting.

Why chose /usr/local and not /usr as install target? I do not see a reason and installing to /usr/local is (I believe rightfully) strongly discouraged in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_Packaging_Standards
