I've done some cleanup of the PKGBUILD. The resulting package should be unchanged. Sorry for the disturbance.

I don't know why this has been flagged out of date. As far as I can see 0.20.0 is still the latest stable release.

"pkgconfig" is in "base-devel" gruop. According to AUR rules the packages belonging to this group shouldn't be listed as deps.

This package need also the depends of "pkgconfig". So you should change the line of PKGBUILD from makedepends=('gob2' 'intltool') to makedepends=('gob2' 'intltool' 'pkgconfig')
