The pkgver is fixed now, not sure what changed upstream but it used to work fine.

@duffydack: I can't reproduce that. There's nothing wrong with the pkgver() function as it is.

Ok I see the issue. Use,

printf "r%s.%s" "$(git rev-list --count HEAD)" "$(git rev-parse --short HEAD)"

instead of the git describe in pkgver()
