Ah, my bad. aurutils somehow didn't recognize it as a VCS package. Works fine.

@hashworks maybe try a clean build? For me it works. Also seems like you are not building the latest main branch, because b766486 is from the 10th of January.

Python 2 is no longer required and gnome 40 is working now.

As more and more issues pop up on the upstream repo. This extension will currently not work on an up to date Arch Linux. Because Arch Linux already updated to GNOME 40 and GNOME 40 support for material-shell is still WIP as you can see in their repo here and here and on their discord

I am getting this error though during the install:
