recommendation: disable screen notifications. This part of the extension regularly gets borked, and it seems like that's happening again on 42.

edit: haven't tested on latest release and GNOME 43 but leaving this here in case it comes up again.

Apparently the AUR interface still hasn't taken into account the change of upstream url. There is a 3.16 branch which links to another tarball: https://github.com/codito/gnome-pomodoro/tree/gnome-3.16#from-source Should this one be used?

When I try to reinstall I get: ./configure: line 14384: `GOBJECT_INTROSPECTION_REQUIRE(1.36.0) Did something change with Gnome 3.16?

No problem, it works now, thanks!

Thanks for letting me know. It turns out that the upstream repository was renamed from gnome-shell-pomodoro to gnome-pomodoro and that changed the way github creates the source tarball. I've updated the package to reflect this change.

I'm getting problems with failing md5sum checks when trying to build, both manually and using Pacaur, could one of the sources be out of date?

Oh, I completely forgot to fix this thing. Thanks for the update though.

Changing the source line in the package build to the below did the trick for me (note the double quotes). source=("$pkgname"::"https://codeload.github.com/codito/gnome-shell-pomodoro/tar.gz/$pkgver")

I am aware of the issue. Github now redirects to another URL (https://codeload.github.com/codito/gnome-shell-pomodoro/tar.gz/0.10.3). For some strange reason the URL doesn't work in PKGBUILD as curl gives the same error. Unfortunately I haven't had time to debug the issue more.

It looks like github redirects the url when curl tries to access it. That's at least part of the problem.

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
