I don't mind purchasing it, I just wanted the latest beta-version. And further down on the link I provided there is this: 06 Mar 2015 20:46 GMT Latest Beta (Release Candidate) - Steam BuildID 547552, GOG release 20150306204412 This should finally address issue #106. The game should be 100% OK on XFS now. The GOG version can be downloaded from http://developer.vpltd.com/public/witcher2-gog-20150306204412.tgz

@Arhat: it sais, that it cant find the game in your folder. as the game is not free, you need to purchase it on GOG, download it and put it in your folder right next to the PKGBUILD. the link you provided does not lead to the game but only to a bug tracker, hosted on github. as i said bevore, the game is to be purchased earlier. and as there is no DRM etc involved at their place, it is not a bad idea to support them anyway.

I'm getting an error downloading the sources: makepkg -s ==> Making package: gog-the-witcher-2-assassins-of-kings 1.0.0.4-4 (Sat 18 Apr 18:43:55 CEST 2015) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Checking buildtime dependencies... ==> Retrieving sources... ==> ERROR: gog_the_witcher_2_assassins_of_kings_1.0.0.4.tar.gz was not found in the build directory and is not a URL. I tried to use this beta: https://github.com/virtual-programming/witcher2-linux However the paths are all wrong then. Any hints on how to proceed?

@fettouhi No, there is no need to use the patch. Just take an updated tarball and update PKGZBUILD.

@TZ86 I would like to do that but before I do that should I update the PKGBUILD to the 1.1.0.5 version of game? If yes, how should I update the PKGBUILD? Update the base game to 1.1.0.5 or with the patch?

Please add lib32-libssh2 to depends.

@mirandir Yes, you are right my mistake it is compiled from a old PKGBUILD.

fettouhi, according to your post (2014-09-14 08:34), libcurl.so.4 is compiled from http://pkgbuild.com/git/aur-mirror.git/plain/lib32-curl/PKGBUILD?id=6707050b2be285305465f2d5c1780b0e610668f2

libcurl.so.4 is taken from the steam runtime.
