@elementaryswag, @lczaus:

You likely need ffmpeg2.8 to get sound working. I had it going a while ago but had trouble building it from AUR last time I upgraded so I uninstalled it. Please let us know if you get it working.

I'm on Elementary OS, but here the sounds have stopped working, too. It's a problem with the Bionic Beaver (the newest version of Ubuntu). I get an error about not having Glib 2.28, libavcodec53 and libavformat53 (really old versions) on the newest Linux Mint and Elementary OS (Juno, Beta) that are based on the Beaver, but the sounds work just fine on Loki (based on Xenial Xerus). So I guess this must be a problem with the newest libraries...

Do multimedia features work for most people out of the box? sounds give me an error about not having glib2.0 and I can't get bloomberg TV or anything like that to work either.

@pmatos I just built and installed ib-tws-972.1f-1 using the AUR-published PKGBUILD via packer. I'd suggest giving it another try after doing a pacman -Syu on your box.

aurman is giving me: ~~ the following packages are neither in known repos nor in the aur :: gegl02-0.2.0-8

@benalexau Thanks. I was able to build manually. Looks like it's an issue with aursync.

@emphire, I was able to build 972.1c-1 just now. I suggest rm -rf /tmp/aur/ib-tws and try again.

I seem to be getting an error with the new pkgbuild. It looks like it's attempting to create a directory where a file exists:

$ makepkg ==> Making package: ib-tws 972.1c-1 (Wed 30 May 2018 12:16:17 AM PDT) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Checking buildtime dependencies... mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/tmp/aur/ib-tws/ib-tws’: Not a directory

==> ERROR: An unknown error has occurred. Exiting...

(/tmp/aur/ib-tws is where the PKGBUILD is located)
