The `join` issue has been fixed upstream, it'll be part of the next stable release. (A friendly Arch user confirmed that `kitch` (our beta channel) does indeed install correctly).

I also get the testing error -- perhaps you should move the testing part of the build to test() inside PKGBUILD?

I can't update to 19 either, I don't know why but I always have problems with this package.

erbridge commented on 2016-11-13 17:55 (UTC)

This issue is preventing update to 19.0.0.

fasterthanlime commented on 2016-11-02 16:09 (UTC)

@thinhakapete I remember seeing this error in our CI logs, but the 19.0.0 build definitely passed! Something fishy's going on...

[itch 19.0.0-1] not ok 39 should be equivalent --- operator: deepEqual expected: |- { errors: [ 'foo', 'bar', 'baz' ] } actual: |- [TypeError: Cannot read property 'join' of undefined] at: Generator.tryCatcher (/tmp/yaourt-tmp-heo/aur-itch/src/itch-19.0.0/node_modules/bluebird/js/release/util.js:16:23) ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in check().

@papabean Looks like it was an upstream bug, and they fixed it: https://github.com/electron-userland/electron-packager/issues/439 - no need to update the PKGBUILD!

papabean commented on 2016-08-07 05:30 (UTC)

I don't see any new commits to the PKGBUILD. Was the change implemented upstream? Today I was able to build v18.5.0-1 without issue.

@fasterthanlime Cheers!

I think an update to electron-packager might've broken the PKGBUILD. The stage/package.json file does exist, when doing makepkg (I've added an `ls -lhA stage` to make sure). I think it wants a javascript module name now, not a file path. I'll look into it.
