Running on a fresh installed GNOME/Wayland DE, when I launched it, the window opened is outside the screen. Had to manually move it back. Not sure what's wrong but I think it worth to report this issue. In case someone else ran into the same problem, use alt+tab to focus on the toolbox window, and press alt+space to invoke the menu in which you can move the window manually.

When I start as a normal user, right-clicking the icon on the taskbar does not have the option to open the toolbox or exit the toolbox, but starting with sudo will.

Would not you like to also upload the package for eap version of toolbox app? https://www.jetbrains.com/toolbox-app/nextversion/

Hey I did not see the unflag button (even afterr looking for the button...), I thought it was the maintainer that has to do something. Anyway sorry for that...

Could you add a post-upgrade message to remind the user that only updating the package doesn't do anything (as mentioned before here and here)?

jetbrains-toolbox.install

post_upgrade() {
  cat <<EOM
:: Updating the package alone doesn't have any effect.
   Either copy /opt/jetbrains-toolbox/jetbrains-toolbox to
   ~/.local/share/JetBrains/Toolbox/bin/ or use the in-app updater.
EOM
}
