Hi! Did you get the chance to take a closer look at the PKGBUILD yet? According to alinefm from the kimchi irc channel, version 1.1.0 is to outdated and she recommended upgrading it. Unfortunately I could not do this locally but I am willing to help if I can. :-)

I wasn't able to get the newer version working on arch last time I tried, but I'll see if I can get some time to try again soon. (Possibly in about 10 days)

Newest version is 1.3 which has quite some changes. Also nginx is a dependancy since version 1.2.1. Could you please update the PKGBUILD? Thanks!

I don't have sanlock installed and it is working fine. That sounds like a problem with your libvirt.

Note to package maintainer: Add sanlock as a package dependency: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/sanlock Otherwise, libvirtd fails to start and kimchi cannot run without it. Adding sanlock fixes this.
