@Katana Yes I do and I've noticed a lot of .../mozilla/... in the stack trace.

adrianx - in stderr/stdout, do you see anything about g_slice_set_config? If so, you're probably running into the same problem as me; mozilla is working on it atm. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=833117 (Komodo is built on top of mozilla code, for those unaware)

Agree with @adrianx-- Same error. Simply downloading the .tar.gz, extracting, and running install.sh, the package from activestate works fine. So there's something wrong the AUR packaging, not the app itself.

@6ahodir : The 8.0.2-78971 version is for Komodo IDE not Komodo Edit.
