Your
pkgver
isn't comaprable, please adopt one of the standards proposed in the ArchWiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_package_guidelines#Gitmichaelnix commented on 2020-02-09 17:39 (UTC)
When I try to build it is downloading version 0.0.0.2e8f999-1, not 0.0.0493cf28-2. Because of this the update keeps coming up.

I just created
layan-kde-git
and have includedlayan-gtk-theme
as an opt depend, since this is the git version, you could add aprovides=('layan-gtk-theme')
if you would like, you may also have to conflict with it so if a non git package were to ever be created, both couldn't be installed at the same time.shaybox commented on 2019-10-30 18:19 (UTC)
The engines should be optional, gtk themes can be installed on other desktops that don't use them (and every other gtk theme makes them optional)
