Thanks. But there is a problem with this PKGBUILD. It seems, that configure gets the information about the version from the git history. There are generated files for pkgconfig in /usr/lib/pkgconfig (libosmocore.pc ...). These files will contain the line "Version: UNKNOWN" after building the package. This may cause problems, because configure can not detect the version of libosmocore by using pkgconfig. I have created a PKGBUILD which uses git to download the sourcefiles and then does a checkout of the version tag. Now the version number is bumped correctly. https://gist.github.com/statschner/5507828
