I installed from here won't show in Desktop Effects, only does when I install using guide on GitHub... Plasma 5.24

You can try my fork of LightlyShaders: https://github.com/a-parhom/LightlyShaders It works with latest Plasma 5.23.3 and works around infamous "Korners" bug. Though it is a bit resource-hungry, because of the approach used for restoring shadows in cut out corners.

I found a fork of LightlyShaders which works for me in Plasma 5.23.2 as of today.

Note that the installation instructions in this fork contain an error: they forgot to replace the original git URL with that of their fork. The git command should be as follows:

Doesn't want to compile on Plasma 5.23.1.
