⚠ INFO: We had to switch to SourceForge for retrieving the binaries.

Unfortunately, the bandwidth will not always be satisfactory - so the download time could be 20x longer. Plan your updates accordingly.

@sommio package builds fine for me. Please try: makepkg -sicC

Can you fix it?

Is it possible to change the PKGBUILD to leave the kernel version out of the kernel filename? Every time the kernel is updated I have to regenerate grub.cfg or else I can't boot the kernel. Something like "vmlinuz-xanmod1" or "vmlinuz-x64v3-xanmod1" would be better.

It's probably the keyserver having issues. They are super flakey. The one that has worked for me the best is Ubuntus, MIT's keeps having issues.

I usually update the following:

.gnupg/gpg.conf
.gnupg/dirmngr.conf
/etc/pacman.d/gnupg/gpg.conf

with: keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80

Remove any existing keyservers.

And then reboot (killing dirmngr usually fixes it, but sometimes not)

@pipes80 I don't know, but your gnupg can't import the key. Try to rename

mv ~/.gnupg ~/.gnupg.back

and try to import again.

Also you can ask in BBS: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewforum.php?id=23

this is my error: :: Importa le chiavi con gpg... gpg: ricezione dal keyserver fallita: Dati assenti -> problemi importando le chiavi

this: wget -qO - " https://keys.openpgp.org/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xABAF11C65A2970B130ABE3C479BE3E4300411886 " | sed -n '/^-----BEGIN/,/^-----END/p;/^-----END/q' | gpg --import - gpg: 79BE3E4300411886: nessun ID utente gpg: Numero totale scheda: 1

@pipes80 this usually happens because you don't have gnupg keys. What's the exact error you have?

pipes80 commented on 2023-03-11 17:40 (UTC)

I can upgrade this kernel only with makepkg --skippgpcheck and pacman -U

It's funny, I've just see that there is an official repo in Sourceforge:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/xanmod/files/releases/main/

I have switched sources to Sourceforge, I'm not sure if there is a better method, but it's the first method that occurred to me.
