Quick question: What's the reason for not building this from source? Is it too difficult? Doesn't it work? Or just convenience?

linvst.so should be installed to /usr/bin/linvst.so along with other binaries. from https://github.com/osxmidi/LinVst/blob/master/README.md: > copy linvst.so to wherever the windows vst dll file is that someone wants to run in a Linux DAW, and then rename linvst.so to the windows vst DLL filename make sure this newly renamed .so file is in an directory that your DAW will scan for VSTs. In Reaper this is under Reaper Preferences->Plugins->VST->VST plugin paths

hey how does this work? from the git site it mentions things such as linconvert, lin-vst-server and the PKGBUILD said installed linvst in /usr/bin yet I can't find anything but I've noticed that some of my windows vsts are now ladspa plugins.
