Hey, been a while since the release of 0.29.0 and this package is still out-of-date. Would you like help with the maintenance?

Please remove --user root and use chown -R root:root "${pkgdir}" instead. Since npm 7, the --user option is no longer available. --user root not only doesn't fix the permission problem, but also installs the package called "root", which conflicts with other packages that also have the --user root option.
