Hello, I have some suggestions for this package; I am the maintainer for mcpelauncher-linux and mcpelauncher-ui

  1. Add mcpelauncher-linux and mcpelauncher-ui to provides() and conflicts(). mcpelauncher-ui-qt doesn't exist anymore.
  2. Make license() SPDX compliant

Here is a patch file

Latest change: migrated to extracted version, for now.

until found the fix for plain AppImage version. (have no idea.)

Latest pull won't run.

% /bin/mcpelauncher This doesn't look like a squashfs image.

Cannot mount AppImage, please check your FUSE setup. You might still be able to extract the contents of this AppImage if you run it with the --appimage-extract option. See https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/wiki/FUSE for more information open dir error: No such file or directory

Can't actually use that --appimage-extract option either by the way. Something's not right here...

@zj7909 it is mcpelauncher issue, not the AUR package. create an issue on mcpelauncher repo.

zj7909 commented on 2024-03-16 20:44 (UTC)

when i load my realm the system states the client is outdated. This is not the case on any of my other devices as everything is updated. I don't know if this is an issue with the package or not. as it was working prior to a few days ago.

@zj7909 PKGBUILD has no problem at building package. what do you mean "unable to play"?

zj7909 commented on 2024-03-16 20:05 (UTC)

unable to play even after pulling the update. thanks
