Windows binaries are malformed as it is... When you change any package you have to rebuild most of them. Stupid design, but what ya' gonna do. These xFLAGS are copied from fedora's mingw packages. If they haven't encountered problems with them for 3+ years of using them for mingw, I guess they work fine. Also, fortify source is only buffer overflow prevention. It does malform binaries that tend to have buffer overflows, but shouldn't do anything bad to regular programs.

Why does this define _FORTIFY_SOURCE? I thought that malforms the binaries.
