@jtdowney, that was bad cargo cult. I went through and simplified this logic. Works for me in a docker container. Let me know if it works on your end.

What is the purpose of the jq builddep and the line with jq? It seems to have been from a copy/paste from the ripgrep PKGBUILD which recently removed that line: https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-community/commit/2da381245672f29a6b99d57180622c771218e293.

Needs to be updated to 1.2.6 and then run updpkgsums
