This will not be managed through this package. This is the role of 'provides' variable. In mopidy-git PKGBUILD, you should add provides=('mopidy'). Then this will allow all extension to work to with mopidy-git without updating all of them.

Oh, sorry :(, I'm going to rephrase that. If someone has installed the mopidy-git package, she cannot install mopidy-spotify, so it's should include mopidy OR mopidy-git in the dependencies list. I don't know if it's possible to do that, but if it is, it should be considerate.

python-pykka >= 1.1 is a direct dependency, as well as a transitive dependency through Mopidy, so IMHO it should be added to the dependencies here.
