If you experience the problem below when updating packages, first remove mumble-git, then update all packages including protobuf and finally compile mumble-git again.

# pacman -Syu
:: Starting full system upgrade...
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing protobuf (3.12.0-1) breaks dependency 'libprotobuf.so=22-64' required by mumble-git

Use qmake-qt4 rather than qmake

Just as a warning: with the newest official celt update this package is now incompatible with other users of mumble. However, if all parties on mumble server are using the same version of celt then conversations won't sound like a dial-up connection process.

Got it working, Opus is supported now.

Um, weird. Adding those commands into the PKGBUILD, before building and it compiled for me. And yes, I spotted your bug report, not very much info in there to go on to be honest. I also installed opus by itself and symlinked when mumble refused to start because it was looking for libopus.so.1 etc.

I've already filed a bug report for upstream yesterday because these commands alone don't fix the compiling error. For now the Opus codec is disabled.
