It didn't actually need a rebuild, though...

@tamirzb: New perl version/module rebuild.

What is the difference between 3.6-2 and 3.6-3?

t-8ch commented on 2023-07-25 17:36 (UTC)

It should work from that directory. Look at "man alpm-hooks".

Zenzio commented on 2023-07-25 17:35 (UTC)

@t-8ch Thank you! I have to admit I didn't know about that folder. Is one supposed to copy over hooks that are located there to /etc/pacman.d/hooks? Or are these hooks already being executed when using pacman? Thank you in advance.

t-8ch commented on 2023-07-25 17:20 (UTC)

@Zenzio it is installed to /usr/share/libalpm/hooks

Zenzio commented on 2023-07-25 17:11 (UTC)

Is the hook from @Thermi which is part of the package now supposed to automatically appear in /etc/pacman.d/hooks when installing this? Because I couldn't find it. I manually created the hook.

How do I make it not output anything unless some services were found/restarted?

t-8ch commented on 2023-01-04 22:40 (UTC)

Sorry, I missed your comments. Now the hook is part of the package

boris64 commented on 2023-01-04 12:41 (UTC)

I integrated the hook from @Thermi (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/needrestart#comment-873377 / works great btw.) into the PKGBUILD. If someone else is interested, here's the patch: https://pastebin.com/4yKAAaxx
