opencl-amd (and opencl-amd-dev) are not out of date.
Latest version is 6.3.3 - https://rocm.docs.amd.com/en/latest/about/release-notes.html which only updates the rocm systems profiler for a minor bug. Due to the nature of these packages, which are over 25 GB in size, it would not be ideal to update on every minor patch.
I'm not going to waste peoples time and bandwidth. Be patient.
No worries, I just think it's hilarious that so many people think that opencl-amd is out of date. Someone just submitted an orphan request for the package.
@luciddream I apologize, I removed yay -R opencl-amd and /opt/rocm and reinstalled yay -S opencl-amd and it recognized my graphics card in DaVinci Resolve.
DaVinci Resolve in its new version no longer recognizes the graphics card because you have outdated OpenCL.
That's an assumption based on... ?
If you are using opencl-rusticl-mesa then you are not using opencl-amd. Unless you are trying to say something else.

I'm currently using opencl-rusticl-mesa RUSTICL_ENABLE=radeonsi
No worries @BlackShade. By the way I noticed some commits that will probably be available in ROCm 6.4 that are specific to 9070(xt) cards and will provide about 2x performance in specific scenarios, which is pretty cool.
@luciddream Sorry you where right it has support my bad.
Which as I said contains almost no changes. I don't see any urgency in upgrading and forcing all people to download 25+ gigabytes for nothing. 6.3.3 was released a week before, that's about 50GB in two weeks for almost no changes.

These and the 6.3.4 drivers for amdgpu-pro have been made public in the last few days.
@BlackShade, reaperx7 - where are you getting that information from? From my understanding 9000 series works with ROCm since at least 6.3.1
You can see the available libraries using pacman -Ql opencl-amd-dev | grep 'gfx1200'
I can upgrade it tomorrow but I don't see any reason to be honest.
p.s I don't have a 9070xt GPU yet to test but I plan to buy one

Note for anyone who has a Polaris GPU (Radeon RX 5xx) debugging issues with this package; Packages that use OpenCL like clinfo or davinci-resolve-studio will need you to downgrade opencl-amd to 1:5.7.1-1 as well as amdgpu-pro-oglp to 23.10_1620044-1 to avoid coredumps & segfaults.
DVR would not open unless these 2 packages were downgraded (along with their dependencies). Had to figure it out the hard way after hours using valgrind and rebooting over and over. Hopefully someone else will not have to pull their hair out trying to resolve their issue.
