Looks like libnotify should be added as a dependency: opera-developer: error while loading shared libraries: libnotify.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Ruarí, greate to see this happen! However I will wait for a release that has both builds available. ;) Thanks a lot!

I am about to go live with 32-Bit versions of the previous public developer release (30.0.1833.0). There will be no 64-bit version this time. Some changes we originally made to accommodate the 32-bit version on our build systems, actually broke the 64-bit version.

Nice, eworm. Don't feel you need to do this but if you wanted to make the PKGBUILD even simpler you could change the prepare section down to, simply: tar xJf "${srcdir}/data.tar.xz" -C "${pkgdir}" Leaving just the following in package: chmod 4755 "${pkgdir}/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera-developer/opera_sandbox"

Thanks for the hint, Ruari! The package is updated. I did not know opera reads its own lib directory. But as it tries to load the ffmpeg library version shipped by Arch Linux we can remove this completly for now. ;)
