@mio-19: You need core/openssl-1.1

@mio-19 Installing libxcryypt-compat helped when I got this error with another program. This might be the case.

Unflagged.

kojq commented on 2023-04-07 18:56 (UTC)

@bjo You have the "Unflag package" option below "Flagged out-of-date (2023-04-05)"

Then I'm sorry for misusing the OOD-function.

Regarding the OpenSSL3 rebuild for ARM there's already an issue: https://github.com/Morganamilo/paru/issues/898

gromit commented on 2023-04-07 08:02 (UTC)

@bjo that depends: If you download the prebuilt sources from GitHub and they dont work its a bug that should be reported in the GitHub issues, if it works and just when packaged it does not its a packaging bug and should be reported here.

In both case flagging the package as out of date is not the right way to go about the issue: An out of date flag means "hey there is a new version of this software, please update the package accordingly" which is not the case here!

bjo commented on 2023-04-07 07:58 (UTC)

@gromit: Do you consider the wrong rebuild as a bug?

gromit commented on 2023-04-07 00:30 (UTC)

@bjo, flagging out of date is not a function to report bugs!
