The pianoteq_linux_v8xx.7z distribution archive must be downloaded manually.

Got to http://modartt.com/try, log in by clicking on "User area", and when you are logged in, click on "Download the latest version: 8.x.x". Place the file which you can then download next to the PKGBUILD file.

To install version 8 you can modify the PKGBUILD and change all the version numbers. You'll also have to edit the first checksum.

As version 8 was released, can the same package be used for installation of version 8 ?

To install using Manjaro's package manager copy first the pianoteq .7z archive in /var/tmp/pamac-build-$USER/pianoteq/

Thank you @kuluse for noticing! With a517b008b5a4 the PKGBUILD should now have the correct signature.

kuluse commented on 2020-10-06 15:50 (UTC)

Hello, the signature seems to be wrong. Maybe pianoteq silently updated the archive. (See the comments on https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pianoteq-stage/ )
