@alphazo: Sorry about the initial misunderstanding. Shall I add you as a Co-Maintainer again then?

@yochananmarqos Since your package looked better, I thought you wanted to maintain it. I have a Proton premium account, so I'll be happy to take over the maintenance of the package you kindly put together.

By dirty hack I was referring to my PKGBUILD that didn't have proper dependencies for example and also naming as you noted. I used the exact same package from the Proton website without any modification or hack.

@alphazo: What is a "dirty hack"? Why are you referring to the package release that I'm sure we both saw today on Proton's blog and/or OMG!Ubuntu today in the past tense?

Why didn't you properly submit a useful PKGBUILD with a proper name to begin with?

@alphazo: Indeed. I added you here as a Co-Maintainer for a reason. If you have a Proton premium account and will use this, then it's up to you to maintain it. You're the one that added it. I'm going to disown this package once the merge request is complete. That way someone that uses it will be able to update it. I'm currently using a free account.

This was a dirty hack when Protonmail desktop was released. Please consider using https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/protonmail-desktop instead and which is a much cleaner version.

@yochananmarqos I just disowned my quick protonmail-desktop-bin-beta package in favor of yours which respects proper naming and has the right dependencies.
