@cwrau: I can't reproduce that. Perhaps clear your Yay cache and regenerate the database:
yay -Yc && yay -Y --gendb

Since the last update, every time I check for updates,
yay -Qu --aur --devel
, returnspython-pulsectl 1:21.2.0-1 -> latest-commit
.But there never is any change. Do you have any idea how we can fix that?

Please use the stable release from PyPI, not a development tag.
libpulse
is missing from dependencies.The MIT license (
COPYING
) needs to be installed with the package.Improved PKGBUILD

Please bump up the pkgrel so the package rebuilds for Python 3.9.
