Looks like the dependency python2-pyudev has been deleted, making this uninstallable.

Yes the original branch doesn't support Python 3. However, the point was rather that python-rtslib-fb is the "main" package containing some extra (non-python) files, which were also included in python2-rtslib (or rather were created when python2-rtslib was run the first time..). AFAIK there is no maintained python2-rtslib in AUR ATM.

The conflicts array for python-rtslib-fb contains python2-rtslib. Presumably, it should be changed to python-rtslib. OTOH, I'm not sure the Datera version supports Python 3 so maybe it's moot.

Thanks, that makes sense. Fixed (in rtslib and configshell).

The makedepends need to be specified globally, they have no effect when moved into the package() functions. Both python-setuptools and python2-setuptools should be specified in this definition.

The PKGBUILD now creates /etc/target/backup, which is necessary for targetcli to create backups of the configuration. So either update your package or mkdir that directory. This PKGBUILD is also in a git repository: https://github.com/JonnyJD/PKGBUILDs/tree/master/_lio/python-rtslib-fb

Please note that the targetctl script and systemd file for the lio target are only included in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python-rtslib-fb/. The whole point of targetctl is to be used in the service file, so I didn't include a targetctl2 in this package (and there can only be one target.service). I can include it when somebody has a pressing need, though.

This now includes the targetctl script and the target.service systemd file. python2-rtslib-fb does not include these. So even if your program still uses python2, you probably should depend on this package for the lio target.

Please note that the license changed from AGPL3 to Apache 2.0 with fb37.

Starting with 2.1.fb18 this doesn't depend on python-configobj.
