qt6-quickcontrols2 is the correct dependency for this package. On Arch, qt6-quickcontrols2 is provided by qt6-declarative (you can take a look at the PKGBUILD). This was not the case in qt5 and may not be the case in the future, so I think it is best to leave the dependency as qt6-quickcontrols2.
pacman
will correctly recognize and resolve that dependency to qt6-declarative.EDIT: Nevermind, it appears qflipper has updated their build instructions since the last time I looked to state that quickcontrols2 is only needed on qt5 builds and has declarative listed for all builds, so I suppose the changing probably is the right decision.

You should also update the license to GPL-3.0-only, current one is not valid.

I think the issue is fixed if you replace qt6-quickcontrols2 with qt6-declarative.

Any ideas why building this locally (with kde-unstable enabled) would not work? App crashes with "Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (6.7.2) with this library (6.8.0)". Where is getting any qt 6.7.x from?
