Hello,

please use a proper pkgver https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/VCS_package_guidelines#The_pkgver()_function (git without tags for this), by using date like that the pkgbuild lacks correlation between pkgver= and source=()
pkg-config don't have to specified since is already part of the base-devel group
/autogen.sh belong to prepare() instead of build()
what is $MAKEPKG_BUILD_HOOK mentioned in the pkgbuild?
