replacing line 22 in the pkgbuild with the following fixes the issue:

source=("$pkgname::git+https://github.com/rawstudio/${pkgname%-git}.git")

essbe commented on 2022-03-17 21:07 (UTC)

Tried to buid it, but it failed with the following error message: The unauthenticated git protocol on port 9418 is no longer supported. Please see https://github.blog/2021-09-01-improving-git-protocol-security-github/ for more information.

Would it be possible to fix this?

@guzzisti I've dropped that option as setting it is discouraged by AUR guidelines. Instead the correct way to get the same effect is to set your own MAKEFLAGS in the makepkg config, see here for details.

@guzzisti Good idea, done. That brought my build times down from 5:15 range to to south of 2 minutes ;-)

Can you modify the make call to use more than one job. This would improve build times a lot.

Sounds reasonable, done.

Could you please change the dependency fftw-mpi to fftw * fftw is in the official repositories, and is used by many other packages, such as blender, luminancehdr, etc. * rawstudio only requires fftw3f.so, which is included in the official fftw package. * The PKGBUILD for fftw-mpi on the aur has not been updated, and is one version behind, requiring manual tweaking of the PKGBUILD to install the version that other oficial arch linux packages have been linked against. Thanks.

automake does not need to be limited to automake-1.12 anymore. makedepends=('subversion' 'automake') # use automake-1.12 # patch -p1 -i "$srcdir/autogen.patch" Compiles fine for me.

Added new dependency 'osm-gps-map', thanks for notifying.
