This package actually supports nearly all Roccat mice. The description is misleading and deleting the word "Savu" from it would have saved me a trip to google :)
Can't wait for my Kova+ to ship!

@russo79
Why not ask the one who should know?
There still are 3 kernel patches pending for 3.10:
- Kone media key support
- Support for IskuFX
- Support for KonePure

0.18.0 pkgbuild
seems to work fine (however i have older kmod-roccat still installed)
gonna test without it next time i reboot (which happens rarely)

@C5OK5Y
It seems that effectively, there were changes made to these drivers in the 3.8 stable branch of the linux kernel.
Could you try to install this package without installing the kmod-roccat package and give some feedback ?

@russo79: You mentioned this -
"You now need to install kmod-roccat. The new versions of the tools use features that are not available on the kernel version of the drivers."
Is that still a current issue are have the changes been merged upstream?

Hello everyone, I know that version 0.17 is out.
I will package it for the end of next week.
Now that roccat uses uinput I have to put something in place to avoid conflicts on device permissions with gnome15 packages.

@russo79 thank you for pointing that, I've looked at bugs, wiki, forum and missed the news tab lol

@mangus: https://sourceforge.net/p/roccat/news/2013/02/kmod-roccat-080-and-roccat-tools-0160/
Excerpt:
The status icon is gone, all GUI's are single applications now.
Roccatgui is reduced to a mere eventhandler. This leads to a lower memory footprint and events are not blocked by modal GUI dialogs anymore.
