I suffered from the "4 second bug" a LOT and have not noticed it yet, so far with r12. So a massive improvement for me - thanks.

@capoeira: I have been using this for a few days, and I have to say it works very well for me. I did not have a lot of problems with r9 either, but r12 works at least as well.

I am still afraid to update since r9 is working very well for me

After using this a few days: I see no regressions. Driver seems to be more stable, although I still got occasional connectivity issues it seems to happen more seldom.

Just pushed the new version, please let me know of any problems.

If you package it, we can test it immediately. :-)

Apologies for the lateness, I am currently travelling and will have a more stable situation in the near future. That said, I think I can package this one soon considering there have been no issues reported. However I will not be in a position to personally test it until end August. I trust your wise judgment guys!

How goes the investigations? Are driver version 5.2.20.2 more stable? (I have recurring connection issues with the present version.)

@lupoalberto
What works?
Your chipset is not suitable for THIS driver, and that is all I actually care about.
If you can find another driver that actually FULLY supports your chipset, then fine. But I don't think anyone here in this particular space cares very much. The comments here are for the RTL8812AU driver alone, but thanks for your input.

@gordboy, thanks for comment but although my adapter is based on RTL8812BU chip it works. Don't as I want but works.

To all having an issue with this driver: please try https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl88xxau-aircrack-dkms-git alternatively.
