This package now forces to use the branch v5.6.4.2 (the one that works better for me), which is the default one in the remote repository although they still mention branch v5.3.4 as the stable one. If you have any issues, please leave a comment, and also tried to change the branch in the source array. For example, change it to:

source=('rtl88xxau::git+https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au.git#branch=v5.3.4'

Read the README.me to learn how to set your interface in monitor mode (and other things).

Important: Use ip and iw instead of ifconfig and iwconfig

There is a bug driver version 5.6.4.2. Pls, check out my pr for the fix https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au/pull/1078

This fails to compile for me on 6.2.12 kernel.

Is it just outdated?

Thanks for your effort. Will it be compatible with linux 6.3 rc versions? It returns with dkms install error.

Linux kernel v6.1.11 broke this package for me. Downgrading the kernel and headers to v6.1.7 let me recompile the package successfully.

The traceback from the dkms compiler referenced two function calls. I believe they were coming from /var/lib/dkms/rtl88xxau/r1211.e7a4a39/source/os_dep/osdep_service.c and /var/lib/dkms/rtl88xxau/r1211.e7a4a39/source/os_dep/linux/os_intfs.c, but I don't have the make log anymore so I'm not certain.

The new kernel 5.19.2 kernel does not let the module compile, is there a way to fix this?.

Module does not compiles on 5.19.2 kernel.

Please consider unpinning first commentary. This driver now supports rtl8814au and it builds and works. Mentioned package does NOT work on latest kernel (5.18.9-arch1-1).
