I've switched repository names on SilverIRC's git. Now screenfetch.git instead of screenfetch-dev.git.

Be warned, versioning has changed for this package. I'm starting to use the commit dates. However, I'm not EXACTLY sure how to make pkgver just accept the last commit date, so I'm currently setting it manually.

Sorry for getting back to you so late. I'll see what I can do about that.

Can you fix the PKGBUILD so it builds correctly with makepkg? Although it build, pacman/makepkg fails to install the package: http://crunchbanglinux.org/pastebin/1163 Spyhawk, from the Arch forums, says the PKGBUILD has "an (ugly) workaround to "force" the package version (see line 33) in order to bypass the git version number, resulting in the failure of makepkg -sfi to install the package."

Do you have i3 on your system? o.O The only reason it should detect i3 is if the i3 process is running.

@KittyKatt Something wrong with the WM Identification? I use xmonad but when run screenfetch it's detected as i3.

Fixed. Updated tags and the background support has been re-enabled via -B flag.

I may have just forgotten to push some tags. The update I mentioned in my last comment hasn't been done, by the way. Currently haven't had the time to do it. I have two finals at college today and then I'm done for the semester. After I get that off my plate, I can concentrate on this and my other projects.

euh, how it comes the version mentioned here is 2.2.4 and in the git tree it is 2.2.3 ?

Oops. I forgot to finish that feature...I'll do that tonight and update this again.
