New searxng-git AUR release with python-mistletoe-ng (0.8.1 version).

I did not have any issues with the old version of python-mistletoe on my side.

Nevertheless, I asked ArchLinux Trusted Users to disown python-mistletoe on the AUR, and make me maintainer.

In the meantime, the python-mistletoe-ng (>= 0.8.1 version) is great.

I will look into issues with python-httpx* deps...

@HLFH just to confirm, at the moment this package:

  • fails to install because the maintainer of python-httpx-socks hasn't updated the deps with the new version of python-httpx

  • even if it installed has a startup problem with python-mistletoe also because of an unmaintained package

Since this is the only version of searx that has updated httpx, perhaps we could try to disown the aforementioned packages and upgrade them?

Thanks for the update and your work with this. Unfortunately it still crashes at startup because it needs mistletoe=>0.8.1. The version of python-mistletoe in AUR is 0.7.2.

I'm not sure what can be done with this at the moment until python-mistletoe is updated in AUR. (I've just restored an older version from backups for now).

Also the PR https://github.com/searxng/searxng/pull/758 has a broken change. So I submitted a PR https://github.com/searxng/searxng/pull/842. And it got merged right away!

So everything is fine.

Hi, at startup I'm seeing a failure:

pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: The 'mistletoe>=0.8.1' distribution was not found and is required by searxng

Mistletoe doesn't appear as a dependency. As far as I can see, only 0.7.2-1 and 0.6.2-1 are available in AUR (unless I'm messing up somewhere). Possibly a hidden dependency?

Git as makedependency, switch from dalf to master branch now httpx-upgrade branch is merged. New PKGBUILD release. @rawhide, it is done.

Update: dep uwsgi-fix was removed on the AUR so I submitted uwsgi-ng which has a better package description.

Update: I fixed version_frozen.py with the updated PKGBUILD of searxng-git on the AUR.

I submitted uwsgi-fix, which is uwsgi 2.0.20 with the Python 3.10 patch.

searxng-git now depends from uwsgi-fix and uwsgi-fix-plugin-python, and no longer from the broken uwsgi* packages.

There are no more real showstoppers, thus searxng-git got a package update.

Update:

There is an issue with uwsgi and Python >= 3.10. https://github.com/unbit/uwsgi/pull/2363

The third remaining showstopper is the following: uwsgi 2.0.21 should be released and take into account the PR #2363.
