Okay, the upstream repo url has been updated and I've stopped renaming the installed binary. I'm going to create a new package for senpai-git in the AUR and subsequently raise a merge request to bring over this package's comments and votes.

FYI, the senpai-irc AUR package is now named senpai [see this commit), the previous chess-engine claiming the name has been removed. It might make sense for this package to likewise move to senpai-git for consistency. Cheers

Fair point on the naming and good catch on the upstream url (I swear that page once existed). I'll fix both when I'm in front of my personal machine.

BTW, the homepage URL isn't currently valid (the domain isn't even registered ATM). I'd change it to https://sr.ht/~taiite/senpai/

seems like it'd be fine to leave this named senpai, tbh. The other package (the chess engine) is only an AUR package, has less votes than this package, and isn't packaged for any other distro. Would be in the benefit of user-friendliness to keep the command unchanged and just add senpai to conflicts, IMO

This work fine on ARM. Can you update arch to arch=(x86_64 aarch64)?
