The package currently fails on checksum check

==> Validating source files with sha512sums...
    deb ... FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

From what I see latest version is 8.8.44.8993 with checksum 8e3be3d8c08b67e38ad349343795b3249cc9871d75803f6aeab37b3bda83e1baa9d9727b7315566376de488d4405ba73ebbd2795d42a389589f9ce46442171b4

I asked on their slack if they could create a release archive page to ease the burden of the random updates. Thanks for maintaining!

Got it, I will implement it shortly, and thank you for your help on this! First time maintaining a package

I sent you a patch file via mail. Please review and let me know if it's fine.

You are absolutely correct and I just changed it to libu2f-host. I would definitely appreciate it if you are able to spare some time to help debug. I was looking at the Chromium AUR package as well to see if I was missing something. It could be one of the flags they pass but I'm not sure.

And absolutely, I was surprised the package wasn't already in the AUR but I just enjoy using Sidekick so much, it makes freelancing with 20 different communication points much easier to manage lol.

Thank you for fixing this. I can reproduce your mentioned failure. I will try to help on debugging, if I can find some free time. While re-installing your new package confing, I saw an optionally listed dependency for u2f udev rules. I think this package should be replaced with

community/libu2f-host

because?! Correct me, if I'm wrong.

Thank you for maintaining this package. I was glad to find sidekick browser in the AUR because it makes my daily work a lot easier.

Correct grueneerle, my apologies I fixed both issues, icon and keydata(debtap). Running into a new error though

[112078:112078:0323/112235.705415:ERROR:zygote_host_impl_linux.cc(90)] Running as root without --no-sandbox is not supported. See https://crbug.com/638180.

Package installs, icon is loaded but you will get 3x of the above error. I am researching it but haven't found an answer yet.

Seems like it's trying to add some gpg keys for apt. The browser itself can be used after the "failed" installation, but it's missing an application icon. Error occured on manjaro/Gnome.
