echo "-- Extracting icon" ./${_filename} --appimage-extract "usr/share/icons/simplex.png" > /dev/null 2>&1
Shouldn't there be / in front of usr? That does not fix the issue tho...Tio commented on 2024-01-05 11:23 (UTC)
Unfortunately again does not build:

@Tio hum the appimage extraction doesn't seem to be working... I've put even more debug prompts if you feel like testing once more xD so I can know exactly what causes the issue.
Tio commented on 2024-01-05 00:01 (UTC)
Still no luck...it is weird because I do have plenty of space and I am installing many AUR applications without any issue.

@Tio hum that's odd, the package doesn't really have steps prone to failing... Some reasons might be a lack of space on your system (but I think the pacman can detect that), some permission issues on your /usr or /opt, or some missing gnu utils ? I've added a couple prompts in the package() step, if you can try installing again maybe it will give us a hint.

Does not build for me even after removing the cache
Proudmuslim commented on 2023-10-01 15:22 (UTC)
@Yorokobii clearing cache worked, sorry for bothering. It was complaining about invalid hashes when I tried to update
Yorokobii commented on 2023-10-01 07:32 (UTC)
@Proudmuslim have you tried clearing your helper cache ? Otherwise a bit more info for me to help you ?
