@keenerd, because GPereira made a hostile takeover of this package and I have not reviewed them. But yeah, it looks like we are better of reverting all his changes.
EDIT: And it seems to be a bit hard to build 1.3.0 on arch.

Why does this package contain a whole Perl installation under /opt? There is no sane reason to do this.
This entire package is terrible! It doesn't support i686 or armv7h. It is x86_64 only because it uses a precompiled binary. This change happened when GPereira updated it to 1.3.0 on 2018-11-03.
There is already a slic3r-bin package in the AUR, if someone wants to use upstream's precompiled binaries. A package that isn't -bin should be compiled from source.

It's good now :)

I was wrong third checksum is not sha256 so better recalculate them all.

Yes I am sorry. I am reconfiguring my machine with LVM and at the same time I am configuring Windows with dual-boot but the pace has been slow because I am working on a project of mine that's consuming my time. Will get this fixed as soon as I have Arch Linux back up and running ;)

I'll second the comment of geov, update would be nice!

You have a mistakes in latest PKGBUILD (commit

Few icons and a bit of perl scripts that implement gui that are not executed is not overhead
nickoe commented on 2018-09-28 17:35 (UTC)
@GPereia, do you have a patch?
GPereira commented on 2018-09-28 16:41 (UTC)
it shouldn't install the gui components in that case, to minimize overhead
