Ah, I already have this kind of keyboard (they put it on small laptop), Obviusly, you dont need to have numpad activated, that's will just be anoying beacause you cannot use the right hand part of your keyboard ;-) Just remeber this package for the day you have a complete keyboard with a physical numpad xD

ag, its my fault this is my laptop keyboard http://www.asus.com/websites/global/products/Kp9FSSex21aq8WPA/o5.jpg the numpad is integrated into normal keys. if numlock is enable, switch the normal keys to number keys. . the script works perfect, but my brain not XD sorry for all and greetings

That's strange beacause it's working on my laptop, the commandline with setled come from the ArchLinux Wiki (but was deleted by Chrisl, see the old article here : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?title=Activating_Numlock_on_Bootup&direction=prev&oldid=243523) When you execute 'setleds -D -num < /dev/tty1' it disable your numpad, right ?

not work for my laptop after reboot the numlock is dissable if activate by hand and execute setleds -D +num < /dev/tty1, the numlock back to disable and if execute when numlock is disable, this make nothing i belive the setleds arguments is wrong, if execute setleds -D -num < /dev/tty1 works greetings
