@issue_no1 no this package has been discontinued by Microsoft, there will be no further updates. They say use the PWA
Response of app after login: "This version of Teams only supports work or school accounts managed by an organization."
-> Any chance for private use?
Microsoft killed this, right? Anyone has tried the PWA app? Is it possible to use that on Firefox? Or just Chrome?
Here it still works, but for how long ? For a few days, sometimes it dumps core :
PID: 85806 (rect-overlay)
Signal: 3 (QUIT)
Timestamp: Fri 2023-01-13 14:26:14 CET (1 day 1h ago)
Command Line: /usr/share/teams/resources/app.asar.unpacked/node_modules/slimcore/bin/rect-overlay -p 0x0 -s 2560x1440
Executable: /usr/share/teams/resources/app.asar.unpacked/node_modules/slimcore/bin/rect-overlay
User Unit: plasma-plasmashell.service
Message: Process 85806 (rect-overlay) of user xxxx dumped core.
I'm with 1.5.00.23861 and it's working well. May be a pipewire problem? I'm with pulseaudio.
Version 1.5.00.23861 broke audio input/microphone streams for me. I downgraded to 1.5.00.10453, and all is well again. (Yes, almost certainly a Teams related bug.)
There's no identification if this version is for commercial or private use. When i try to log in with personal account i get a message to switch to other version.
@lucasalcarasr sudo pacman -S org.freedesktop.secrets
simply installs gnome-keyring.

@mluque Yes, it seems that Microsoft is doing the wrong thing and has deleted the packages from the repository. There are several open threads on this topic.
The truth is that since the announcement that Microsoft was going to withdraw the Teams client, one does not know what is going to happen. I hope they restore the files, but in the meantime I have uploaded the binaries here (they are the Arch packages, I don't have the original .deb packages but if someone passes them to me I can include them).

Please, before flag as Out-of-date perform a double check in versions. Version 1.4.00.4855 is higher than 1.3.00.30857, 1.3.00.5153 or 1.3.00.958.
If you doubt, please remember the math classes and perform a count 1, 2, 3, 4, ..., 958, 959, ..., 5152, 5153, 5154, ..., 30856, 30857, 30858, etc.
You can go to HERE, download DEB or RPM and compare versions
