@drrossum It wasn't me who submitted it, but yes, its already submitted.

Thank you, that is useful! Have you submitted your patch upstream?

Latest version was constantly crashing on my PC with an assertion on line 3446 of interface.c. I have done a quick and dirty patch to fix it, in case anyone is interested: http://pastebin.com/09NXpJVd Just download the patch, save it as media-crash.patch, edit the PKGBUILD and add after the git submodule update line: patch -p1 < ../media-crash.patch Build the package and it should be fixed.

@schmidtflo As the topic suggests, just check if you're behind your ISP's NAT. Maybe you can't talk to Telegram servers because of this.

PKGFILE is missing "jansson" dependency.

Hey, after installing only the input ("> ") line appears, I'm not asked for a phone number, so I'm not able to use telegram. Seems like this one: https://github.com/vysheng/tg/issues/440

So you can conveniently use Telegram in the following way: echo "msg Firstname_Surname Test123" | nc 127.0.0.1 2391 I use it for Domoticz scripts. See: http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Installing_Telegram_Notification_System

What do you use the service for?
